I know very little about Ron Paul, but, if he is an Isolationist conservative, he, unfortunately has little chance for success. I believe that he has the right ideas for this country, but we will probably never return to this type of stringent isolationism. Gradual withdrawl from the world stage may be acceptable (starting with the UN.)
